If you like old time puzzle games that challenge your mind and absorb your time, Bips is the game for you. While many people consider Bips as a simple copy of the classic game “Soko-ban”, this doesn’t mean that is a bad game; it’s quite the opposite actually, since this game it’s filled with tough puzzles designed to make you think and train your brain.

Even though there isn’t a lot to brag about in terms of graphics and sound, Bips does a good job in what we expect from it, being a puzzle game, in which the difficulty raises quickly and the challenges don’t stop coming your way. The gameplay is pretty simple, but that’s the point of the game; it makes you think that everything is easy until you realize you have no moves left and you need to start over.

The goal of Bips is to gather all the gems on the screen, but in order to do that you have to make all the right moves because if you make one wrong turn, then your chances to win the game go from 100 to 0 real fast. Think ahead, plan your moves and analyze the whole picture to come up with a good plan that will guarantee you all those gems.

Completing each stage isn’t the only thing needed to get to the next level, as the game will make you repeat the same stage over and over if you don’t complete it on a specific number of moves. Unless you got a plan, you won’t be able to get to the next stage and that’s what we loved about this game.

Maybe Bips isn’t the first title of its genre, but it surely is fun and we hope that many people have the chance to play it. If you liked the concept, go ahead and try it for yourself.
