There’s a genuine feeling of speed while driving, with your racer being more difficult to handle at faster acceleration. The game still has collision and damage models, though it could use detail more than a few flying pixels. There are module damage indicators at the lower screen. Crashes either on the track barrier or with other racers will affect either top speed or vehicle handling. There are 5 areas to pay attention to. Having any of them critically damaged will affect your standing.

There are plenty of races to participate in. New tracks, events, and racers are unlocked as you advance in your career. You jump into a new vehicle and are given subtle hints on how to handle them. It’s expected that the player will go through trial and error in figuring out the right way to drive. Those who face difficulty getting it the first time will have to make do with abusing Restart Race in many situations.

There are lots more to do, such as customizing cars and unlocking new courses. How fast your options expand depends on your racing ability.
