Sequel to the amazing Descent game, Descent 2 is a terrific and highly engrossing 3D FPS in which you’ll be starting off right where you left off but, with much improved gameplay mechanics and features. The game manages to impress despite not making many changes but, the addition of a few new features, along with the better visuals, Descent 2 is one to look out for as FPS lovers would love getting their hands on this simple yet intriguing game. The game also features a short tutorial where you can learn the basics and we urge newcomers to go through it as it teaches a lot.

Moving on towards the gameplay of Descent 2 and this is where the game impresses the most because a lot of focus has been put on combat and flying the spaceship. The combat is exactly the same as you’ll have to take down the alien bots but, in this game, the enemies are increased and they’re even more powerful so you’ll have to level up your game. Alongside this, the game has also introduced the auto-pilot features which means you can set the spaceship to auto pilot and can focus entirely on shooting your foes in the intense FPS combat. The levels are even more challenging and, there are even boos fights for you to enjoy.

The visuals of the game are improved as well. The game world features some stunning looking locations, the enemies have creative designs, the animations are fluid, and the frame rates are also smooth.

All in all, Descent 2 is a stellar FPS that features top-notch gameplay along with a few other enticing in-game features that make this game worthy of trying.
