Developed by Inner Circle Creations in the mid 90’s, Alien Rampage is a highly entertaining 2D shooting game in which you’ll square up against dangerous enemies while running through different levels. The game revolves around your character who’s equipped with heavy weaponry to go toe-to-toe with numerous types of dangerous characters in the game who are there to stop you from progressing through different stages.

When it comes to the gameplay, the story is pretty intriguing and the combat feels fast paced since you’ll have enemies coming at you at an excessive pace so make sure your weapons are always loaded and you make the right moves if you want to take them down. The weapons themselves feel quite fun to use and the experience is enhanced even further by the various power-ups that the game has to offer. Each of these power-ups is capable of bolstering your character’s strength in a variety of ways so it’s highly recommend that you try to make the most out of them each time you come across one. You can also upgrade your equipment as you progress through the game by collecting the coins scattered throughout the levels and using them to purchase upgrades that will aid you in a variety of different ways, especially during the later stages of the game when the levels start to become more challenging.

The graphics of Alien Rampage were certainly ahead of their time at the game’s release and, even today, the game looks highly appealing thanks to the detailed designs of each and every in-game entity and the stunning environments in which the levels take place.
